We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team. This role demands a thorough understanding of advanced systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure, coupled with a proactive approach to addressing complex technical issues. You will be essential in maintaining, optimizing, and preparing our clients’ technology landscapes for the future.
What will be your duties?
- Oversee, adjust, and troubleshoot sophisticated enterprise-grade systems, servers, and software.
- Ensure the high availability and performance of mission-critical systems.
- Lead the resolution of escalated technical tickets and determine root causes for long-term solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and provide expert technical guidance
- Architect, administer, and optimize hybrid cloud environments, particularly within Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems
- Integrate advanced features in Exchange Online, Azure AD, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business
- Monitor for and mitigate vulnerabilities across all systems
- Enhance system performance and scalability to support future growth
- Design and troubleshoot advanced LAN/WAN architectures involving enterprise-grade firewalls, VLANs, and high-availability configurations
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical designs, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
- Contribute to the internal knowledge base and lead technical workshops for the team
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor for clients, guiding them on best practices and strategic technology investments
What do you need to have?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced certifications are a plus
- Minimum of 3 years in a senior technical role, with experience in architecting and managing enterprise IT environments
- Recent Microsoft certification (e.g., AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300) or equivalent experience, with a commitment to obtain a Microsoft certificate within 6 months
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Server (2019, 2022) and Windows Desktop OS
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft 365 workloads, including Power Platform, compliance management, and automation
- In-depth understanding of Active Directory (on-premises and Azure AD) and hybrid identity solutions
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Client-first mindset with exceptional customer service orientation
- Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is a plus
